California Closets is always looking for ways to give back to the community. One of our most recent philanthropic projects was working with Friendly House Neighborhood Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. “Friendly House’s focus is assisting families and individuals with basic needs such as emergency food, housing, immigration assistance, information and referral, etc. We also offer affordable After School, vacation and summer programming as well as Youth Hoop Basketball opportunities. Friendly House also operates a Homeless Family Shelter and Transitional Housing Programs off-site” (Friendly  House).

Storage before the system was installed consisted of plastic bins and garbage bags, hardly an effective storage system. Ryan McAllister, Director of Business Development, said “that when Erin reached out to me it seemed like a no-brainer, an opportunity to give back.” They now have an organized storage system that can better help them to serve the community.
